Pieces to Spend A Rent On

 Hi!
As probably every lolita and/or fashion maniac can tell you

And as such, I love ogling the newest releases. Of course, I don´t really buy that much, but if I did, it would definitely be for those pieces.

Vampire JSK (Triple Fortune)

What can I say? It´s spooky season and I´m a Halloweeny bitch. I love everything macabre, but vampires are my favorite creatures of the night.
I like the campiness of this JSK, the jewel colour and fact it actually does new thing - as much as I love cupcake cut, this reminds me of Halloween a lot more. I also like the bat hem of the neckline, and the fact it´s a bit lower. The fact that the spider web is an overlay and not a print also speaks to me.
Out of all colours, I like purple most, but would probably buy green. Honestly, if I ever see any of them on Lacemarket, I will get it.
Also, is there any better dress to wear while listening to My Chemical Romance? It screams Vampires Will Never Hurt You.

Edelweiss Cape Coat (Sheglit)

You know what else is kinda creepy and reminds me of vampires?
Capes.
Long, flowy capes, where no can see what you carry and you can just dramatically roam around. And this one has it all. It looks very elegant, with its lenght, high neck and careful usage of details other than the lace bib. I think it comes nice together. Also, the hem is supposed to be 417 cm.
There is an ongoing Edelweiss series that as a whole looks very early Edwardian to me. I like this addition best so far, but I will keep an eye on it in the future.
It comes in two colours, and I would definitely pick the black one.

Velveteen Gips OP (Na+H)

I will continue this thread of gothic pieces. Who doesn´t love a good velveteen? I used to have old school Meta velveteen OP, but I had no idea how to coord it or care for it, so I sold it. Ever since then, I´m looking for another smooth piece o my heart. This can be it.
It´s rather simple, depending more on the cut and material, but it also has this choker, which definitely moves it to the edgier side. It kinda reminds me of victorian mourning dress.
From what I saw, it only comes in black, but that´s perfect colour for such a dress.

Velveteen use Glen check setup (An Another Angelus)

While doing research for this, I kept thinking what does my favorite casual brand do?
Turns out, still the same thing. I like all of their vintage tartans, tweeds, etc, it reminds me of autumn in Britain.
Normally, you wouldn´t catch me dead in grey, but as a Downton Abbey fan, I instantly fell for this dress. The silhouette is just too cute. I don´t usually go for so... settled? clothing, but I really like this set.

Now get ready for tonal whiplash.

Berry Bunny Skirt (Emily Temple Cute)

I have no idea if this cut and length is even lolita anymore, but I have eyes and can see it´s sooo adorable. Not just the print, but the tiered cut and that little bit of lace that adds a nice finishing touch
You can have this beauty in a variety of colours - pink, lavender, navy and ivory, and every single one has different berries and bows. I prefer navy and ivory with cherry and blueberry, but I can see myself in the summer, having picnic in every variant.
There is JSK and OP too, but this skirt has the strongest grip on me.

Also, ETC is releasing Baby Chick series, which is exactly what sounds like.
Tiny chickens living their best lives at least two cuts of OPs and skirt. It even has a little head scarf, can it get any cuter?

As for now, I saw it in pink, mint and yellow. It's up for reservation right now, so if you really like chicken/birds/underused animals in EGL, this is your time. Just be warned, in typical ETC fashion, the cuts have smaller poof, so it´s more of an otome thing.

5th Week; My wardrobe turnover

Hii!    I don´t buy a lot of main pieces. I have always been cautious about finances, (up until my party era), and it´s safe to say that if ...
