New Releases that Hunt My Dreams

 Hi!

It´s quite some time since I last wrote about my newest obsessions. I wonder what have past few weeks brought us?
(Besides a lot of stress and some more burnout.)

First of all, there is Coeur à la Crème Princesse Dress Hat by Baby the Start Shine Bright.

You can pre-order this long-veiled beauty right now and get it right before Halloween! Due to it´s size it´s probably going to be neck-damaging, and I can imagine chasing it during the windy autumn is not going to be too much fun. It does not seem too practical, but when has that ever make something less stunning?

You can choose from sax, off-white and baby pink. I like it because it screem glamorous diva.

It´s also a part of new series, Cœur à la Crème Princesse. I don´t really enjoy them so far, but they all of you the oportunity to own a brand stick again.

My dislike of the series doesn´t mean that Baby didn´t manage to struck a chord with me. Have you seen the Little Kumya Earrings

This is probably the most adorable thing I have seen this week.

There´s also Siesta mini-series. Since I have started working night shifts, I think about my sleeping schedule so much more. This may be the manifestation of my issue in a ruffly form.

This looks like the power nap uniform and it comes in black, too. As someone who prefers black clothing, this makes me feel incredibly pleased.

Alice in the Pirates did it´s best too. They released Ginger Doll Dress Set which brings some edgy 2000s fantasy anime energy back into the subculture.

Too bad it´s Shanghai exlusive. On the other hand, while I like the vibe, it looks lowkey bad. I don´t like the bodice, and designers probably felt the same way, hence the cape, and the material is little too shiny for my liking.
But I really like the concept.

My next pick is Alter XXXX by Moonrise Theater. They are a Japanesse indie brand with mostly old-school inspired pieces. They try to keep their products fresh through patterns and materials and this is, at least for me, the height of their innovation.

I really like a good cross piece, and this feels very distinct, even though the cross is rather delicate and not the main focus. The shine of the fabric also works for me - it reminds me of leather or PVC.

I feel like it would look cool with Distant Melody Milkmade Camosiles. I check this indie brand a lot to be honest.

It´s giving Nana I fear. This is the absolute summer staple and I want to congratulate everyone was able to purchase it, as they are already sold out.

Another brand I have been enjoying lately is Marble. Their gloomy, aristocatic aestetics speak for me. While I can´t imagine wearing them to my work, they would make an amazing uniform if I was a bored aristocrat that might also be a vampire, which is a position I aspire to.

It was hard to choose just one, or any one, because I´m little confused by their listings. The winner is Blouse-type OP with Gothic Diamond-cut Tie. I think that it´s easilly the best sewn dress on my list. I enjoy the materials, the contrasts between tie and the rest of the dress the cut, and the drama. While waterfall skirt may be a choice, I feel like it adds to the longing feeling of this piece.
I´m not sure if the buttons are functional, but they tie the tie nicely to the rest of the dress - this way, it looks more put together with occasional shine.
There are so many details on this OP, which is what made me fall in love with lolita in the first place. This is easily a dream dress material.

That´s going to be it for today, have a nice evenings all of you!

Can You Actually Buy Lolita in London? The Lolita in London Scam

 Hi! 。.:☆*:・'(*⌒―⌒*)))

I just came home from London (and I´m already planning my next visit there). Among many other must-sees, my group went to Camden. It wasn´t my first visit there, so I was already excited for Humble Crumble, Cyberdog, food market and many, many shopsof various colours and decoration. What I didn´t really anticipate was new shop, right in the heart of the market - Lolita in London

My expectations weren´t too high - I thought that the quality is going to be at the same level as Sai Sai. And it was way smaller than both London and Paris Sai Sai, so I didn´t even expect any variety. The thing is, while there was very nice shop keeper, there was no acutal lolita. You could find very cute larme skirts, some pieces just perfect for jirai kei, but as for the titular lolita, there were just some headdresses. They were shiny enough to blind an aircraft pilot and you could see the hanging threads from miles, so it was a hard pass eventhough they cost only 12 pounds.
I didn´t buy anything, but it did stick in my mind. I just had to Google it.

Upon inspection, I was obviously happy I didn´t find any main piece there. The quality is awful, the prices actually hurt me and the usage of word lolita killed my entire family and set my flat on fire. Obviously, Lolita in London is run buy resellers, which makes you wonder why didn´t they pick better pieces to resell.
Even on those four dresses, you can see that the term lolita is used very loosely here. The silhouttes are plain wrong, the materials don´t work and I think that at least the pink "dress" is a replica?
It doesn´t really take a pro to disect everything wrong there.

Here are some of my favourites.

Okay, I have to say, this one isn´t even that hideous. You can hear the swooshing sounds this JSK probably makes, but it´s one of the better ones. That still doesnt qualify it for the price tag of 317 euros.

Sometimes, a bad coord can be salvaged by petticoat. Not in this case. Lolita in London does sell a petticoats, which begs a question why did this go so wrong? Are their pettis responsible for this?

If anyone feels nostalgic for Milano, this is the perfect solution.

I think it´s obvious that the owner doesn´t care too much for the lolita fashion. That makes the fact that they are trying to organize a tea party even weirder. Their invitation didn´t get much traction - it´s safe to say that London lolita community doesn´t care that much for them.
I feel like this fact speaks for itself - in this higly digital world, a physical shop would normally be something cherished. There are some limits, though, and Lolita in London flies straight under them.

Other than lolita, they carry surprisingly nice catalogue of beauty products, clothing and accessories. While 22 euros may be too high for butterfly top from Shein, it´s not that bad for London. They even have surprisingly nice wigs. They wouldn´t that bad, if only they dropped the lolita from their title.

Have a nice evening!
See you soon! /(^ × ^)\
